Vague but Good

I’ve always believed in the power of belief and the universe, and trusting that everything will happen as its supposed to. Recently I have been feeling this in many aspects of my life.

There’s just something about doing little things, on their own, like writing one blog post a week, posting a picture from that hike, or eating the meals I prepped for myself each day, and being able to take a step back and really see how they’re all connected in some way. Its also surreal to be living the life, and doing the things, I dreamed of doing for myself. Without even always being conscious of it, I’ve broken down big goals into smaller, realistic action items that are being checked off my list.

Yes, I’m being vague on purpose! There are lots of things in the works, and while it is overwhelming at times, I have great feelings about all of it! I’m tired, my brain is to the point of having to shove things out of the way to cram more things in there, and I pretty much just want to eat cheese and carbs ALL THE TIME. There’s a lot of planning, list making, writing, designing, and finding time to be out in the wild doing the things that fill my heart.

All things will be revealed in time 🙂 and by time I mean the next couple months! Everything I’m doing right now is outside of my comfort zone. I am pretty much uncomfortable all the time, questioning what I’m doing, panicking, and stressing, but at the same time I know that this is where I’m supposed to be. I’m supposed to be here doing these things to get myself to the other side – to where Maggie belongs. To where I can support myself financially, travel when and where I want, and am making an impact!

The next small step with this blog is to post TWICE a week! I’m really enjoying posting a journal-style post on Mondays. I feel like it helps me to get in the zone for the week. I’m thinking of incorporating more structured post every THURSDAY! This could be trail reviews, gear reviews, q&a’s, meal prepping tips, etc. I’m so excited for this! I’m getting some great traffic from these Monday posts, and I look forward to seeing what will happen with an additional post each week 🙂 I’m not quite sure when this will roll out. I want to have some solid content before I start pushing it out, but you can bet there will be an announcement when I do! I will also be starting an email list, which will notify you of each new post, along with some other subscriber content! If you’re interested, please comment on this post with your email, or head over to the contact page and send me a message!

In short, most things that are happening in my life right now are so so great, and everything is beginning to fall into place to become the life I’ve been dreaming of! There is still a lot work to do, but I’m ready for it, I’m motivated, and I’m going to be sharing the whole process, ins and outs, good and not-so-good, with you! I’m getting so much better at talking to a camera like I’m talking to a friend, and I’m not so concerned about what people on the Internet think of me anymore! I am who I am, am not afraid to share it, and if you don’t like what I’m putting out here then why are you still reading?! That sounds like a personal problem to me 😉

This week, this month, and the rest of the year could bring so many more positive changes to my life, and I’m so ready to ride this wave, keep pushing and challenging myself, and continue creating awesome things to share with all of you!

If you have a WordPress blog – let me know! I’m working on getting more involved in the WP community, and would love more blogs to follow and interact with!
